Abandon ship!

I’m moving all my own original content, gifs and shit, over to antirabbit. For reasons described in the post linked above.

This is the last you’ll hear from tetodotgif or any of my blogs with even remotely relevant names.

wow a rickety bridge scene in a show set in a forest: take me to the other side - fuck you

do you like watching tv teto

Only TV shows, not real TV though. I’m not one of those losers who goes and puts on TV to watch random shit. Why would I sully my pure TV mind with so much random crap, watched out of order?

Now if you excuse me I’m going to go watch Popee The Performer and eat my own shit.

Also, watching Breaking Bad and It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia. And as it airs, Elementary, Glee, Grey’s Anatomy, and Dexter. Dexter being the best of those four.

But those have no relevance to this blog since hah I’m not posting those.

Maybe if I stay signed in on this tumblr exclusively then all my inactivity will be a thing of the past. May…be.

Well anyway let me post about what I’m watching, and what is planned for the future.

I’m watching Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann as my finished show, with Accel World, Panty & Stocking, Utena, and UN-GO lined up. As for airing shows, I’ve gone a bit overboard.

  • BTOOOM!
  • Chuunibyou Demo Koi ga Shitai!
  • Eureka Seven AO [waiting]
  • JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure
  • Joshiraku [waiting]
  • K
  • Kokoro Connect [waiting]
  • Little Busters!
  • Magi
  • Polar Bear’s Café
  • Psycho-Pass
  • Robotics;Notes
  • Shinsekai Yori
  • Space Brothers
  • Suki-tte Ii na yo
  • Sword Art Online
  • Tonari no Kaibutsu-kun

They’re actually all fairly quality.

JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure was a tad overhyped for me, and the first episode was fairly bad. But to those who dropped it after episode one, give the second episode a go and keep in mind it’s not meant to be taken seriously at all. I made the mistake of taking the first episode too seriously. I think the difference is probably the fact that in episode one the main characters weren’t muscle-bound freaks, which takes it to a whole new level of over the top ridiculousness. Before that, it wasn’t over the top enough to be ridiculously so, and therefore didn’t qualify for “funny”. But then it did.

Tonari’s probably my favourite, or at least tied for top place with Shinsekai Yori. Nice animation, nice characters, good humour. Shinsekai Yori isn’t particularly amazing visually. Well, nothing special at least, quality and style-wise. But I really like how strange yet familiar it feels, where the strange is taken as normality, but there’s still plenty of mystery underneath.

I also really like BTOOOM!’s OP music, and Shinsekai Yori’s ending music.

That’s just for the new season though. Polar Bear’s Café and Space Brothers are still the very best.

The Tatami Galaxy (Episode 11)

Ozu: Interested in this?
Watashi: Not really… Though, where did you get it?
Ozu: I searched it out using the information network of the Library Police. Since Akashi-san said she lost it. I followed the clues, but it was quite the struggle. Almost like it was wandering around trying to be picked up by someone.

The Tatami Galaxy (Episode 9)

what anime are you watching this season? :D

So far just Tonari no Kaibutsu-kun and Shinsekai Yori. I’ll be watching Chuunibyou demo Koi ga Shitai! and Robotics;Notes when they start up too.

Chuunibyou actually airs the first episode within the next 10 minutes, so hopefully it’ll be subbed for sometime today.
